Scope and Governing Framework

The Betting Rules govern the use of the M88 sportsbook and related wagering services provided by the Operator. By placing any Bet, the End User acknowledges that they have read, understood and agreed to these Rules, the applicable laws of the jurisdiction, and the Operator’s policies. The Operator may modify these Rules at any time; changes take effect immediately and continued use constitutes acceptance. In the event of inconsistency, Market Rules take precedence over Sport Rules, which in turn take precedence over General Rules. Where specific Market Rules are silent, the General Rules apply.

Definitions

• End User – the individual who uses the sportsbook and accepts these Rules.
• Operator – the legal entity offering betting services to End Users via the M88 platform.
• Bet – a risk-based wager placed by the End User on the outcome of an Event, Market or set of Markets, in exchange for a Winnings depending on Odds and Stake.
• Stake – the amount of money the End User wagers in respect of a Bet.
• Event – a sporting, esport, virtual, or other event on which Odds are offered.
• Market – a discrete betting proposition within an Event (e.g., correct score, number of goals).
• Odds – the coefficient attributed to a Market by the Operator, expressed numerically.
• Winnings – the monetary return payable to the End User upon a successful Bet.
• Cash Out – an optional offer by the Operator to terminate a Bet early under revised conditions, which may be accepted or rejected by the End User.
• Bet Builder – a feature allowing selection of multiple Markets within an Event to form a single bet, subject to these Rules and any eligibility limitations.
• Early Payout – a mechanism to settle a Bet before the final result when predefined conditions are met, at the Operator’s sole discretion.

Eligibility and Compliance

Participation is subject to applicable law and minimum age requirements. The End User must be of legal age and reside in a jurisdiction where online betting is lawful and permitted. The Operator may require verification of age and identity. Multi‑accounting, use of automated tools, or sharing of accounts is strictly prohibited and may result in the suspension or closure of the End User’s account and forfeiture of Bets and Winnings.

Placing a Bet

All Bets are valid only when expressly confirmed as accepted in the betslip. The Operator retains sole discretion to accept or decline any Bet. Where a Bet is accepted, its terms are fixed unless a valid Cash Out offer is accepted or Early Payout conditions apply. The minimum stake and other limits are those displayed in the betslip at the time of the wager.

Bet Types

• Single – a Bet on a single outcome of an Event. Winnings = Stake × Odds.
• Combo (Accumulator) – a Bet on multiple independent Outcomes. All selections must win for the Bet to pay. Winnings = Stake × product of the Odds for all selections.
• System – a collection of Combos with a fixed stake per selection. Winnings may be achieved even if not all selections win; outcomes and payouts depend on the specific System configuration.
• Trixie – three bets formed from a selection of three Events: one Treble and three Doubles. Winnings = Stake × total odds of the Trixie.
• Patent – a combination comprising one Treble, three Doubles, and three Singles. Winnings = Stake × total odds of the Patent.
• Yankee – a Five-Bet structure including multiple4-folds, trebles, and doubles from four Events. Winnings = Stake × total odds.
• Canadian (Super Yankee) – a Six- to Seven-Event structure with multiple fold and double components. Winnings = Stake × total odds.
• Heinz – a Seven- to Eight-Event structure with sixfolds, fivefolds, trebles, and doubles. Winnings = Stake × total odds.
• Goliath – an Eight-Event structure with a broad combination of folds, trebles, and doubles. Winnings = Stake × total odds.
• Rounding – where odds extend beyond two decimal places, payout is rounded to the second decimal place as applicable.
• Cash Out – an End User offer to settle a Bet early, subject to acceptance and the Operator’s terms, which may change over time or be withdrawn.
• Bet Builder – a combined Bet across Markets within the same Event. All selections must be correct to win; non‑completion or voided selections may affect overall eligibility.
• Early Payout – operator‑driven settlement before final results if predefined conditions are met; availability and terms vary by Event and Market and are at the Operator’s sole discretion.

Settlement, Void, and Market Integrity

Settlements are based on official results and applicable statistics at the end of the regular playing time for the Event, excluding extra time unless stated. If an official result cannot be verified, or if a Market is displayed with an incorrect price, the Operator may void the Market or delay settlement pending verification. Bets on Events that are not completed or are abandoned are typically void unless otherwise specified by Market Rules or if unconditionally determined outcomes have already settled. Dead heats are resolved on a pro‑rata basis, distributing the stake proportionally among winners when applicable.

Soccer Market Specifics

• First Goalscorer – own goals are not counted for settlement; if a player joins after kickoff, bets on that player may be voided.
• Anytime Goalscorer – settlement includes players who participate from kickoff; if a scorer is sanctioned or substituted, settlements follow official statistics.
• General Soccer Settlement – penalties, VAR decisions, and match interruptions are settled in accordance with official league statistics and published results; if a match is declared void or postponed beyond the permitted window, bets may be voided or resulted as pending based on the status at the time of the decision.

Horse Racing and Other Sports

Horse racing bets (Ante-post, Non Runner No Bet, and related wagers) are settled according to the official results as published by governing authorities. Double Result concessions apply where applicable, and official post‑race outcomes govern settlement. For UK and Irish racing, First Past the Post and Weighed In results are used for settlement, with the concession applying as described in applicable Market Rules. Where a result is amended after the official result, amendments may be ignored for settlement unless expressly stated.

Live Betting, Bet Builder, and Early Payout

Live markets may be offered with dynamic Odds. Bet Builder selections are treated as a single combined Bet; all included selections must settle as winners for the Bet Builder to pay. Early Payout and Cashed‑Out settlements are subject to the specific Market’s conditions and may be removed or altered by the Operator at any time.

General Provisions

• Age and Compliance – participation is limited to legally eligible individuals of appropriate age in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Data Sources – where official sources are unavailable, the Operator may rely on internal statistics for settlement, with outcomes subject to adjustment if authoritative data becomes available.
• Disputes and Corrections – the Operator may correct errors in prices, markets, or settlements; disputed bets will be resolved in accordance with these Rules and the Operator’s procedures.
• Modifications – these Betting Rules may be revised at any time; any changes apply immediately to new and existing Bets unless stated otherwise.
• Governing Law and Language – these Rules are governed by the law applicable to the Operator’s licensing jurisdiction; the English version governs in case of any discrepancy.

Responsible Gaming and Support

The Operator supports responsible gaming practices. End Users may set spending limits, self‑exclude, or take a break in accordance with the platform’s Responsible Gaming policies. Support and guidance are available through designated channels within the M88 platform.
